What you will learn:

Master the core principles of insurance
Participants will master the core principles of insurance in international trade, including roles, responsibilities, and key risk exposures.
Manage cargo insurance policies
Participants will learn how to select, contract, and manage cargo insurance policies effectively, from quotation to endorsements and policy administration.
Handling of Cargo Claims
Participants will learn how to handle cargo claims with confidence, including loss assessment, documentation, negotiation, and recovery procedures.
Use Simulation to optimize end-to-end insurance flows
Digitize and simulate the end-to-end insurance workflow with TT Circle, capturing and organizing E1–E7 evidence with audit-ready traceability.
Risk–cost–coverage Decision Awareness
Participants will learn how to make better risk–cost–coverage decisions using ICC A/B/C + extensions, while integrating sustainability and climate risk into the logistics strategy.

Expected Results

Understand how insurance supports international trade operations and protects value across the logistics chain, through systematic risk identification and prioritisation methodologies (E1).
Make confident insurance decisions by balancing risk, coverage and cost, including the selection of appropriate ICC clauses, extensions, sum insured and premium calculation for different cargo and transport scenarios (E2).
Experience and apply digital insurance workflows using TT Circle as a professional tool, simulating insurance placement, payment processes and the issuance, validation and compliance review of insurance documentation (E3–E4).
Analyse complex and multimodal transport operations, preparing structured cargo management reports that integrate operational milestones, documentation, cost impact, risk exposure and sustainability considerations (E5).
Respond effectively to incidents and insurance claims, managing loss notification, mitigation actions, preparation of complete claim evidence packs and indemnity assessment in accordance with policy conditions (E6–E7).
Integrate sustainability and climate awareness into modern logistics and insurance strategies, evaluating trade-offs between cost, risk and environmental impact across international transport operations (embedded across E1–E7).
