The Escola Staff
The Escola’s director has been the driving force behind the organisations development and growth. He represents the Escola on the national and international arena.
Business Development & Marketing
The External Relations Department manages contractual and administrative relations with the different participating organisations: Universities, Schools, Administrations, press, etc.
The Communications Department manages the different activities related to the promotion and dissemination of the Escola’s activities and projects in Spain and beyond.
The Digital Product Manager is in charge of the development and marketing of the Escola’s PortVitualLab platform, and assists the Business Development and Marketing Department in the promotion and development of courses and visits.
The Academic Manager ensures the quality of the academic content of training courses, creating and updating materials and researching trends for the creation of new training courses, as well as offers specialised classes and workshops in international trade, transport and logistics.
Digital Brand and Sales manager ensures that the Escola’s digital brand grows in the virtual sphere and carries out communication duties related to the promotion and sale of our signature courses.
The Country Manager for Italy manages the different relations and projects of the Escola Europea in Italy.
The Operations Assistant for Italy provides support to the Italy Country Manager in effectively managing relationships and projects within the Escola Europea’s activities in Italy.
Finance and Administration
Manages the Escola’s accounts, assists in the preparation and production of the financial statements. The accounting manager also provides support to the Chief Financial & Projects Officer.
Supports the Chief Projects Officer in the duties related to project management.
Responsible for project management and for the Finance and Administration Department of the Escola.
Bushra Ahmed Kousar
The Administration Intern for Spain provides support to the Administration and Commercial departments.
Technical Office for Port Sustainability
The head of sustainability management is responsible of the Technical Office for Sustainability of the Port of Barcelona and is an expert in the creation of the RSC.
The Community Development Assistant is in charge of organising and monitoring the different Working Groups of the Steering Committee, as well as the events organised by the Technical Office for Sustainability.
The Sustainability Manager is dedicated to driving sustainability initiatives and promoting responsible practices within the Port Community. He is involved in managing the Positive Impact survey and ESG commitments, leading the annual sustainability report.
