Objectives

To gain first-hand knowledge of the strategies of the Port-Logistics Communities related to energy transition, environment protection circular economy and sustainability focused on hydrogen and its derivatives.
To discover new visions concerning the management of ports from the perspective of sustainability based on operations and infrastructures, and the steps to be taken to transform strategy into action.

Practical case
Learning and experiencing how to design, plan and manage the resources to make the transition to a decarbonised port-logistics community.
Simulation
Use of simulation tools for the creation of an energy transition plan.

Obtaining knowledge about the current situation in ports-logistics communities and how they face the future through lectures and debates with industry experts.

Providing training and information to people who will manage and make decisions in port-logistics communities.

Theoretical classes on intermodal transport, energy transition in ports, legal frameworks in the EU and Africa, and more.

Visits & Case Study

Visits and workshops to areas of the port community directly involved in energy transition initiatives, as well as group work on a practical case study.
