Introduction
The “Genoa Port Academy – Introduction” project in Genoa is a collaborative initiative involving the Port of Genoa and the port logistics community. It aims to bridge the gap between university students, TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) students, and individuals pursuing studies in transportation, logistics, circular economy, and international trade. By fostering a connection between academia and the logistics sector, particularly maritime activities and intermodal transport, the project strives to familiarize today’s students and future professionals with the diverse professions within the field. Emphasizing the enhancement of logistics chains and the promotion of sustainability, the project seeks to translate its outcomes into improved technical preparedness for participants, ultimately enhancing their employability prospects and contributing to the overall development of Genoa’s logistics sector.
