Training & Values IMAGINATIO DIALOGUS LIBERTAS OPUS FIDES SAPIENTIA

Our Approach

We are proud to be leading the educational transition from an instructional model to a new – constructivist model – in which the students, the facilities and the environment form a fundamental part of the training experience. We do this while also coaching power skills that determine the capabilities that companies need in a transitioning world.

We stand out from other training methods and centres thanks to the combination of theory and practice in real on-site experiences or through virtual simulated scenarios, which allow participants to practise what they have learned, and as a result, retain the concepts studied to effectively put them into practice.

The campus

The Civitavecchia campus was set up to launch the Formati al Porto project. It is a project born from a public-private collaboration between different entities with the aim of bringing the Port Authority of the Central-Northern Tyrrhenian Sea closer to its port community, university students, ITS students and those attending the last year of the high school cycle with a study pathway related to transport, logistics, circular and international economy, belonging to the centres affiliated to the Formati al Porto project.

Organisation

The campus, inaugurated in 2019, serves as the official educational center of the Port Authority of Civitavecchia, a founding member of the Escola Europea. In line with our commitment to global connectivity, our courses are conducted in both Italian and English and all course materials and documents are exclusively provided in English. Our primary objective is to familiarize students with the practical use of an international language within the domains of transport, sustainable logistics, and international trade.

We continuously explore innovative training methodologies that incorporate cutting-edge platforms, digitalized tools, and insights from industry experts. By staying updated with developments within the field, we create a dynamic and forward-thinking learning environment that equips our participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to navigate the ever-evolving logistics industry with confidence.

Through our dedication to excellence and forward-thinking approaches, we aspire to mold the logistics professionals of the future, equipped with the expertise required to drive sustainable and efficient logistics practices worldwide.
